Whether is it helping people find their dream home or making my beauty clients beautiful, I am really satisfied with my life though doing what I love to do.

I hope that my blog can be used as a channel to make a difference in peoples’ lives where people can learnt valuable and interesting things from. Be it tips on health, food, fashion, beauty or even from experiences that happened to me or just laugh at my silly jokes. I grew up in Singapore, lived in England for 3.5 years and then move to South Korea for 15 months. My time in England and Korea had given me a lot of opportunities to travel around the world and get exposed to different types of people, culture, food, fashion, beauty products…etc. I thank God for all these wonderful opportunities. These expanded my mind and bring me to a whole different thinking and views about life. I came from a broken family and use to have very low self esteem. I always think that I am just a nobody who cannot achieve anything and just breathing in air. I am neither on the top of the list in terms of pretty, smart or rich. I am a very normal girl but now the difference is that I believe that it is the attitude of a person that makes a normal person different and changes him/her into a somebody. I believe if you want your dreams to happen, you have to work really hard for it.
I can still remember the Jessie 5 years back who complains about anything and everything that goes wrong in life. When I visited South Africa, it was my first time seeing the shanty towns where people are living in houses made of cardboards and metals scraps with no fresh water supply or enough food. Just across the expressway from the shanty towns are high walls to big bungalows with massive swimming pools. This is really an extreme to see all these in one whole picture. In my mind, I ask myself, is my life really so bad? Is it worth complaining about? From then onwards, I stop complaining and start to really appreciate and be thankful with everything I have in life. It started my passion in helping others whenever it is within my means. The happiest people do not necessary have the ‘best’ things. They simply Appreciate the things they have.
I built up my self confidence over the years and do my best in everything I put my foot in. Whether it is cooking, housework, career, I try to be the best I can be. I always tell myself to do my very best. I feel good encouraging others, making them have confidence and believing in themselves. Learning make up and nail art courses in Korea previously has helped me open up doors into many peoples’ lives to be friend them and input confidence in them.
Life is never a bed of roses. Things most of the time don’t just happen the way you wish it would be. Only you have the power to change things or make things happen. No one but YOU have control over your life. Only YOU can change the way you think and act. I am sure at the back of your mind, you will always have doubts and fears like ”What if I fail? What if I get hurt? What if no one appreciates or cares? What if people don’t agree in what I do?”. I have been disappointed numerous times by failures and people around me but that is just part and parcel of life. Truth is, you will not succeed every time you try and not everyone will appreciate your kindness or help but you must continue to do what you believe is right and stand strong on your beliefs. Like I always tell myself, God sees and knows my effort.
My blog also expresses my love for Fashion, Makeup and Nail art. Bless those readers and friends who love my blog, comment on it and told me that I have great talent in these things. It’s been a great encouragement for me and will keep me writing.
