MooJaa, Mookata Thai BBQ Steamboat
Posted onPrior to getting the invitation to this food tasting, I was puzzled what’s with the hype of this makan place coz in a day itself, I saw 2-3 facebook friends checking in & that happened over a few days! Thanks to Elaine, Karen & Melva for the invite!
“Moo Ka Ta” literally means “pork skillet” in Thai. It’s created so that both BBQ and hot pot/steamboat can be enjoyed at the same time.
How can free-size leggings be too loose?!
Posted onI need a 10cm height increment, together with a 5kg weight gain in order to fit into my new leggings that I bought from Qoo10.
I am not trying to haolian here, in case anyone wanna criticize me. I am relating my woes. I know almost every girls want to be petite like me. It is awesome when your size stops at the free sizing, but any tiny drop, it is difficult to buy a proper fit.
What happened when I dropped to a XS size? I wear clothes & look like I have no boobs; my skinny jeans ain’t skinny; my smallest pair of shorts still need a belt, not as an accessory but to really hold it in place; or I gotta alter many of my clothing.
FYI, even thou I am petite, I am not exactly in a good (fit) shape lah okay. My feet are also so small that people call me “san chun jin lian” (Lotus shoes for bound feet)
(source: gordonkiely.blogspot.com)
My feet aren’t exactly just san chun (3-inches) thou! It’s Size 3 (size 34) and just one size short of the smallest pair of shoe in every single shop. Charles & Keith may occasionally have a pair of Size 3, but that means limited design. I never like their shoes coz the soles are so dangerously slippery, and they are not that affordable anymore.
Well… back to the leggings!

Geared up for that Oriental Las Vegas Night!
Posted onI had a big headache thinking what to wear – Oriental, Las Vegas or a clever mix of both to C’s company D&D!
That also means that I gotta look my best! I rebonded my hair days before & also had my nails done. I contemplated between a “man” or “lady” look. After I decided, I was struggling to find a bag which is chic & cheap.
A big thanks to my dress, hair & nail sponsor!
Now… let’s check out my outfit!
