I Can Never Eat Enough: When The East Meets The West

I simply love the photos I took with my Samsung Galaxy SII! I have gotten so used to using the mobile’s cam rather than the digital cam I have – since March this year!

Meals whipped up by the family, it was extremely enjoyable!

Top: Stir-fried abalone with mushrooms & veg.

Bottom Left: Braised Chicken Feet, Eggs & Quail Eggs.

Bottom Right: Uncle’s special Asam Fried Ikan Bilis.

Food really makes my day! I’m very greedy when comes to food & recently while being jobless, I have also attempted cooking pasta & Zaru Soba myself!

Uncle’s recipe of this Ham curry-flavored pasta is awesome!

He marinated the cooked spaghetti with soba sauce & simply fry it with curry leaves, onions & ham strips. Totally yummy!

A simple pick-and-eat feast by Mom!

The tofu was one of my favourites! Oyster sauce with cherry tomatos & century eggs! I added some black vingar to my portion & it was fantastic!

Mom’s grilled chicken chop was a hit!

We ate it uniquely: A piece of lettuce thinly spread with mayo/mustard & wrap a small piece of chicken!

Why didn’t I realize before that the chicken-lettuce wrap is so good?!

Dad is a big big fan of durians, esp Mao Shan Wang!

I always get so excited when I see food photos & I suspect I may spam” my blog with quite some food posts over the next few days! ;-)

Do you have any special easy-to-make food recipes to share? When I say easy, it’s really easy like throw it together & it’s freaking not just edible but damn good kind okie?
