Living 2 weeks without my lip balm (ain’t got the time to buy after I finished my lipice one), my conclusion is:

I will never ever let myself run out of lip balm.

I detest chapped, dry puckers! And I felt very un-sexy. LOL.

It is absolutely my essential. At times, I put it in my pocket for any-time application.

There are just so many lip care product on the shelves & I thought I should try out something which I never use before.

From Maybelline: [Lip] Smooth Color & Care lip balm in Strawberry flavor (SPF16).

I always opt for lip care products with sun protection factor. As much as I love tanning, I really do not welcome dark, tanned lips.

I actually just randomly picked it off the shelf & didn’t expect it to look so reddish-tinted.

Upon application, lips were stained a healthy pink-red glow.

However, it will not look good if you have skin flaking as the color will accentuate the peeling.

In order to have prettier-looking lips, I exfoliate gently with my toothbrush twice daily.

With religious lip care routine, puckers will look great with any lip color applied.

Here’s the scores:

Fragrance: 7.5/10

Color: 7/10 (Quite a nice tint & I can skip my lipstick)

Smooth: 6.5/10 (A lil greasy though)

Hydrating: 5.5/10 (Will need re-application every few hours)

Overall: It moisturizes my lips. At least they were much better as compared to the 2 weeks when I lived without lip balms. I like it that it colors & hydrates at the same time. I think it should sell slightly less than $6 though.
