Attended a Skincare workshop by Academie of Aesthetic of Wellness last Saturday. The Academie often help small workshops like this for consumers to educate them with the knowledge to looking good or achieving good skin.
Do you know your actual skin type? Having oily skin does not mean that you do not need hydration and it does not means you’re not acne prone too. Acne prone is not a skin type either, it’s a skin condition. Our skin changes over time, so we do need to pay extra attention to the skin. Know what it is like and use what is suitable for the current skin condition.
Here’s the door gift I’ve received upon registering. Some samples by Cures and eye patches.
We have Su, an experience trainer in the beauty and wellness industry to talk to us.
I would say that I’ve known most of the things being shared in the workshop but I do managed to learn a few new things either. For example, I really have no idea that ZInc can help to use Acne. Maybe I won’t suffer so much last time if I knew it when my skin was acne infested.
The Academie have partnered up with Cures by Avance. It’s a skincare range that targets at skin conditions and not skin types. They have products for anti aging, anti acne etc instead of for oily or dry skin.
Cures uses seaweeds, plants and essential oils in their products and target at treating the root of the problem. This will provide results that will last long rather than results that are momentarily.
Cures is only used exclusively in salons and can only be purchased from the Academie in Singapore. It’s prescribed to your skin condition and wellness.

Good skin is not achieve overnight and we do need the right knowledge. Know what is suitable and use the right products.
