Look what I’ve in my hands! It been 12 years and now once again, Hello Kitty is back to McDonalds’ Land for a visit!

Look what they are wearing! Cosplaying as the main characters of McDonalds! In place of Ronald, Birdie, Hamburglar and Grimace, it’s Hello Kitty!!

Looking smart in their suits! And they are of such adorable sizes! Kitty-Burglar will look better with a mask though. But still mad cute nonetheless!

Just slightly taller than the new refreshing smoothies in McDonalds’ Land~ Grimace Kitty can transform! Let me show you…

Tadah! Grimace Kitty can be Super/Captain/Avenger Kitty with the cap down which will looks like a cape. :P I’m have a little Kitty Ribbon on me too. :P

Not only me, everyone else are sold loving Kitty! Guys included too!!

I’m not in the frame but I can has Kitty! :P

Hamburglar Kitty will be roaming around from 17th May to the 23rd May! Catch her before she’s gone!

Grimace Kitty will come out to play on the 24th May and will go back to maybe sanrioland after the 30th May so go find her before that too!

Birdie Kitty will land on the 31st May and will fly off after the 6th of June! Don’t miss her!

Ronald Kitty will be out looking for children to play~ Visit her at Mcdonalds’ Land and invite her home from 7th June onwards and she will not be accepting any invites after the 13th of June!

Ops, forget to mention that you do have to pay a small price of $3.60 after buying an Extra Value Meal to get the kitties. You can also purchase Kitty at $9 each without the meals. But I will say, treat your friend a EVM and get yourself the Kitty if you’re on diet. :P

Be sure to get your hands on Hello Kitty while they’re in McDonalds’ Land! XD

MFP Blush2Brushes: The Right Application

Hi all, here to share some tips and techniques by MFP very own Make Up Academy, B2B!

Do you know that the way that you apply your makeup can affect whether you look good or bad? One don’t just pile on make up on our face and expect to look good. Only with the right techniques and application will make one look good. XD

The way you line your eyes will create a different look overall.

Do you notice that I’ve lined my eyes differently in all 3 photos? And it all give me a different look!

The mistake I did in this look is that I’ve over drawn my brows and it seems a little too harsh. >~<

I like to line my inner corners and first half of lower lashline to make my eyes brighter and bigger. But of course, one have to be careful while lining the lower lash line. If you do it wrongly, your eyes might get smaller instead of bigger.

May BellaBox: Share with Mum!

May’s Bellabox is a little different!

Instead of the usual pretty baby pink box which I love, they now have a recyclable drawstring bag! I used the boxes for my overwhelming storage, so I’m a little sad. I’m happy with the bag though, great for travelling around!

Cards with product information and a $20 Elizabeth Arden voucher.

Here’s the list of items! I will share the first one with my mum, give her the 2nd one and keep the rest for myself. Ops.

Before I opened the bag, I was thinking that this month’s bellabox smells really nice. And it’s the smell of the essential shampoo! Used those before and love it!

The shampoo and conditioner comes in really cute travel size! Will keep them for like travelling. And we have the Enavose Youth Guard Cream to prevent premature ageing!

Samples from Elizabeth Arden and Candy Doll. I’m glad I received the Candy Doll samples in shade 01. I have another set in 02 which is obviously too dark for me. Thanks to BellaBox I can finally try these goodies out in my shade!

I’m actually most interested in this particular product! It’s the Macadamia Natural Oil with both macadamia and argan oil! Ever since I dyed my hair red ombre, I subconsciously put in more effort in taking care of my tresses. Can’t wait to try this out!

L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Laser Event

Attended an event on L’Oreal White Perfect Laser products that is launching coming 17th May.

The new White Perfect Laser range is said to be provide results comparable to that of 1 IPL treatment at a fraction of it’s price. It is one of the latest breakthrough for whitening for L’Oreal.

The new range consists of 2 products, the Anti – Spot Brightening Essence and the Day Cream. L’Oreal has conducted a research that by using these 2 products together for 8 weeks, the results are comparable to an IPL treatment and can provide 68% more radiance.

There was a little demo done to show how bad ageing is from all the UV rays. June volunteered for the demo and we can see how pigmentation can really make one looks old. Using the White Perfect Laser range, can brighten up our complexion, lightens pigmentation to make one look younger. And we should not forget about UV protection. L’Oreal have a good range of sunscreen, the UV perfect with different formulas to suit different skin types.

Products that are comparable to IPL at a fraction of its price. Ain’t it tempting?

Review: Leaders Medieu Sensitive Sun Cream

I was sent this Sensitive Sun Cream by Leaders Clinic from Serenity Allure few months back and finally got down to reviewing it now. With SPF 50 + and PA +++, this sun cream definitely provide ample protection against different kind of UV rays for a good amount of time.
Unlike most sunscreen which is normally of a milky white texture, the sun cream is of a tinted shade and a light creamy texture. It acts as a makeup base at the same time a sunscreen. As it is also waterproof, you can wear this to swimming.
What I like most about this sun cream is that although it is a cream, the texture is very light and is not oily. It blends into the skin very well and at the same time evens out the skin tone as it’s tinted.
One thing about this sun cream is that it has a light pleasant scent to it. Which I might be sensitive to. As I realized I can’t wear this sun cream when I’m having my period when my skin is extremely sensitive. But on other days, it’s fine. I am still using this as I really like the texture and finish but I avoid it on days when my skin is extremely sensitive.
I rate this product a 3.8/5. It would be a 4 if I never reacted to it as it’s a product for sensitive skin afterall.
Definitely recommend this product, but for those with extremely sensitive skin like mine, do test on a small part on your face to see if there’s any reaction before proceeding to use it on the full face.

Hair Story: Red Ombre Hair

I have always wanted to dye my hair purple or red but I was advised against it as these colors required bleaching and won’t last long. The main factor that hold me back was bleaching as I do not want the bleach to do more harm to my hair. From the day I started dyeing my hair, I’m already doing harm to it. >~< That is why I do not wish to do further harm by bleaching. Cause we all know that bleaching can really dry out the hair and all.

Then there was this trend of Ombre/Dipped Dye Hair going on for quite some time already. So I was thinking, since it’s not a full color, I will only need to bleach my hair partially for that purple or red hair I’ve always wanted! Then when I get tired caring for the bleach hair, I can always cut it off when it grew out! Was actually deciding between DIY or head to a salon and get it done. Decided to opt for the salon option to get my hair professionally done as I do not want to ruin my hair in my own hands. :P

The next thing I know I was asking for recommendations for salons on twitter and went to get my hair dyed the next day!

And so I went to Vintage Studio at FEP as recommended by dear Wendy who recently dyed her hair blonde.

I did 2 types of color, treatment and hair cut. I did a base color in addition to my highlights as my previous DIY dye did not managed to even out the color at my hair roots. Got my hair layered as my hair was cut straight the previous time I had my hair cut short. Layered hair definitely looks better on me, adds more volume too.

What makes me very happy is that I did not bleach my hair at all! The stylist at Vintage Studio, Mars recommended me a red dye which require no bleaching. He also said that the color is actually between red and purple which will turn out into quite a unique color. No bleaching, plus color between red/purple. It’s like the best option to me.

Alright, onto the photos of my hair!

Here’s a close with flash. Look at the red, ain’t it lovely? I did a dark brown for my base color. So it’s a dark brown red ombre. :P The brown has an ashy tone to it so as to balance with the warmth tone of the red.

Here’s a back shot of my hair. The red was dyed on in sections so that it looks more even and natural.

If I tie my hair up in a pony tail, the tail part is all red hair. Super pretty! Makes me want to tie my hair up into a pony tail more. :P

Here’s the red after the first wash. The red runs when I wash my hair and I can see like violet water running out from the hair. But of course as you can see, the color did not run off my hair. :P

I’m really very much in love with my hair now. And I put in more effort in hair care too as I want my hair to stay healthy for the color to look nice and of course to make the color last longer. XD

Very happy and in love with my hair now! You will definitely see me take extra photos with my pretty hair now. Haha. :P

And I really enjoyed the experience at Vintage Studio. Really friendly stylists they have there and I feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. So far the salons I’ve been too don’t really make me want to go back but I think I will go back to Vintage Studio the next time I want to pamper my hair. Even my friend who went with me to dye her hair is happy with her new hair color. :P

L’Oreal Color Explosion Night

Introducing you all to L’Oreal Infaillible colors!

L’Oreal is launching 8 new shades in the market and they are available at $14.90 each.

These 8 shades consists of day and night colors and there’s bound to be a shade for every lady out there!

These shadows are actually in loose powder form. However, it comes with the black compressor thing that will pack the powder tight like it’s pressed. So no worries about it being messy!

Swatches of the shadows! They are really intense and pigmented! Texture of the shadows is really smooth and velvety.

We had a mini contest and have to use the infaillible colors to create our own looks.

This is what I’ve came up with. Colors ain’t blended well though. ><

We were told to choose a color each to represent ourselves and I choose silver. It’s a unique color that will add a pop to the outfits or any looks.

Origins Earth Month

Was invited to Origins Earth Month event last month. (I know, I’m always late in posting events posts. ><)

Origins products are all made using 100% natural ingredients. All their R&D are based on western and eastern methods. Their tag line, Powered by Nature, Proven by Science has this meaning. Combing the west and east to bring the best.

We all made a wish for our mother planet!

There’s a recycle bin at the Origins counter for us to drop our cosmetics empties. Rather than throwing them away, drop them at the bin and Origins will recycle them for us! XD Let’s do a part for the globe!

ATGAB was there at the event making simple brooches using the containers of Origins products. They make use of old bags etc and gave them new lease of life by making them into accessories!
