before heading off to kuantan
we had traditional breakfast at this famous small little coffee shop!
i tell you the HAND MADE bread was oh-so-delicious!!!
dun judge by its plain appearance¬
and the half boiled kampung chicken eggs were awesome too
look at those yolks!
after a very satisfying breakfast we headed straight to kuantan
and this bridge signifies that we are approaching our destination!
look thats kuantan river¬
and yes! another recommended place for lunch =)
it was full house! and most of the thing had sold out
we had the popular curry noodles without chicken and ‘hum’
had a stroll at the beach and of cos alot of cam whore time after lunch =P
my mum joined me toooooooo
and then my dad¬¬
family jump shot¬
well.. we were trying to do this shot tgt…
but what u saw above were cut and paste cos we just couldnt get the timing right for this!!!!
after beach we went back to our room
(we were too early so the room wasnt ready..)
we stayed at riverside boutique guesthouse
it is a guest house with at least 4 star environment!
small and cozy
super loveeeeeeeeeeeeee
remote control for the fan in the room in case u dun want the aircon
me =)
on the way to the famous laozi temple with 2700ft dragon!!
erm well and we lost our way and went to the wrong temple!
it has a, erm, less than 27ft long dragonn? tsk tsk..
still pretty nice eh?
since we couldnt find laozi temple
we decided to go to charas cave
which is abt 17km further
cute little new born puppies on the way up to the cave!
after 127 steps we finally reached the entrance of the cave!
and we started going in
first buddha
we just skipped taking pics along the way and went to the famous slpg buddha at the end
the cave is so big..
outside of the cave..
look! this are the kind of steps i took to get to the cave
scary right!!!
got some holy water for my dad n mom
as they decided not to go up after hearing the 127 steps..
everyone wants some good luck from the holy water
let me strike 4D plssssssssss
i am very sincere!
ok finally.. after getting lost, going to the wrong temply etc..
we are finally here! - laozi temple!
and i found me in the temple too haha!
here is the tail of the famous 2700ft long dragon!
here we started our 15min walk
and finally we came out from the dragon’s mouth!!
touch the dragon crystal ball for good luck =)
we were told we cannot go in from the dragon’s mouth
as they believe it signifies that you are being ‘eaten’ by the dragon
which is supposed to be a very bad thing
and you know why initially we couldnt find the temple?
cos the chinese name and english name were totally different!!
we kept looking for Laozi Temple
but there were only chinese signboards
so we were looking desperately for 老子庙
but in the end we found out it is actually 太上老君庙
well they are the same person but can they just standardize the translation!!
but all because we lost our way
we met them here!!!
relatives all the way from singapore!
omg so coincidental haha!
after that we continued to take a few more pictures before we go for dinner =)
the dogs n the pigs¬
and the moo-moos
and then its dinner time~
shark!! super delicious!
a so-so only pork
and best dish of the day - fresh steamed fish!!
after that we went to east coast mall for a walk
didnt really shop cos it was too late
just bought some snacks and drinks
and we headed back to the hotel to get some rest before we start our journey again! =D
