somehow it feels different from other outlets

we were served with different colorful drinks to try out~
i have no preference as i would always prefer my warm water =)
bb’s favourite is refresh mint (the green one)

and then we were served with our first appetiser~

i thought there was pepper already added to the soup
but i was told later that the spiciness actually came from their famous peri peri sauce~
yum yum!

and then another starter - a sharing platter which gives u a bit of everything

this is a very special dish
chicken liver in peri peri sauce with portugese roll

and i was pleasantly surprised by the chicken mascot just outside!
we were seated just next to the glass window so the mascot posed happily for us

with another surprise
we met wang chin amongst the hot chicks!

they were rallying for votes for our favourite peri peri sauce

trying out the different sauces

and then comes my favourite dish of the day!

in case we just wanted their nicely flame grilled chicken
and in this case we could try out their sauces and decide which was our fav <3

after my breakfast i asked if there is any power point that i can use for my laptop
and u know what?
they didnt have one
and they actually brought me to their office desk and let me use their power point there!
sweet. =)

after that i went back to saigon mini 5
(the hotel i used to stay on my first night)
even though i have already checked out like a week ago
they still let me deposit my bag there
and let me use their internet facilities there!
where can u find such hotel in singapore?

after deposited my bag
i went for SPA~~~
no pics during spa
i had 90 mins full body massage + 75 mins foot massage
thats abt 3 hrs of massage
and in total PLUS the tips i gave
i only spent abt sgd11.25!!!!

and i went for my lunch

and yoghurt as after lunch dessert

i really pampered myself on my last day
went for manicure after lunch =P

and then it started raining
so i decided to go for an hour-long hair wash while waiting for the rain to stop
after hair wash the rain still had not stopped
i just sat ard and wait
and ate oranges with them =P

this is what i saw when i stepped out of the salon

luckily my hotel was just opposite
i rolled up my pants and just walked across the street
interesting experience
the hotel staff helped me call for cab to airport
and there i ended my journey
my first backpacking experience alone =)

and i really really got a big surprise!

the sky was so blue and the sea was even blue-er!

on the first day when i went to the beach
it was in the afternoon and the sun wasnt bright anymore
the beach appeared a little dull
but today it looked totally vibrant
and it was absolutely beautiful!!!

rented a sunbed and this is my view from the perfectly sheltered bed

already black enuf cant afford to get any tanner haha

it was so beautiful that i could just take any random shot and it would still turn out niceeeeeee

continue gushing over the beautiful scenery

and good view with lotsa bikini babes ard me as well
alot of ang mohs there

and it was like endless camwhoring
this place is just tooo beautiful to be missed!

was happily taking pics while this russian guy came to ask if he could help

and then he told me to go out to the water to take more pics haha~
actually i was perfectly ok taking pics on my own
but since he offered his help
it was abit bad to reject his kind offer
so took a few at the water
(was actually damn nua to move =P)

the sky turned dark really early
ard 4pm
so i headed back to the hotel
and had my late lunch/early dinner at 5pm
love the rooftop restaurant at the hotel
although i keep getting mosquito bites at night!!!

and u know what?
the service there is really great!
eventhough i have checked out
i stayed at nha trang till late cos i was catching a night bus to hcmc
they actually offered a room to shower before i left!
and this is the room~

biggger than my own room haha

i packed my bag and i was ready to go~!
you would be amazed by what i have packed inside the small 28litre bag
i will show u at the end of the trip =P

ate too early and i was hungry by 7pm
went to the rooftop lounge to chill and eat while waiting for my night bus

nice cozy place isnt it? =)

and i took the slpg bus again to hcmc

12 hrs ride!

there was free shuttle bus
took the same one as the new frens haha
and we realized our hotels were just next to each other!
agreed to have dinner tgt after resting =)
i really met alot of ppl during this trip
alot of nice ppl really
i guess i was really lucky
either that or luck will naturally go to nice ppl wahahahaha~

after that we went to guava bar to chill

free ice cream cos yuken lost in our game yay~

last stop of the day was oasis bar next to my hotel

pretty interesting there was a grp of very high australian tourists over there

blocks which had been vandalised with interesting phrases

i know my blog posts have been shorter and shorter
but nha trang had been a really relaxing trip
which i had done nothing much besides chilling and relaxing hehe
so just let the pics do the talk ya~~

i tell u the beauty of nature really cant be captured within the rectangular frame - impossible!

so what u see is probably like 10% of what i experienced =P

took the same bus as my thai frens as they were going nha trang also
bus stopped for a break but i was too lazy and too slpy to get down
so i continued slpg and Ya was laughing at me =(

but it was so sweet of him to get me a bottle of orange juice! =D

and that was our last interaction
we went separate ways when we reached nha trang
but we will keep in contact =)

this is my room in nha trang’s ha van hotel~

and i was so hungry i headed out for lunch
wanted to go to this french bistro recommended by the french owner of ha van hotel
BUT i took 1.5 hr to find the restaurant!!!
even though i was using google map gps
n u know what?
turned out that the google map showed me wrong location -_-
i was so determined to find the restaurant cos i already spent so much time on it
even though i was starving i just didnt wanna settle in any other restaurant!
i went up and down the same streets at least 5 or 6 times lo!
then i went online to search for the restaurant description
from the reviews of others
some mentioned the location - its near some pagoda
i even found the ID company that did their design and posted their photo
so great! now i even know how the restaurant looks like!

so i continued searching along the street
decided to just forget abt the location on map
and i finally found it!!!!!!

and my food~ hohoho

it was nice =)
but i regretted ordering the red wine
i just thot it would look nice in the pic
but then..

i really dunno how to appreciate alcohol
and i became as pink as the restaurant =X

and then i finally headed to the beach!

except tonnes of camwhoring HAHA

kinda eerieee initially so many mirrors and the things there really quite crazy haha
its just out of the norm

going up there was super scary cannnnnnnnn!!

my advice - crazy house is not worth going for the ticket price
there are much better places to go haha like the natural sceneries~

after dinner we headed back to the hotel to rest~

i really loved dalat all the buildings were so pretty!

we arrived too early the rooms were not ready too
and new frens invited me to travel with them since they rented bikes
and i cant ride =(

after lunch we headed back to the hotel to check in to our rooms!

it was really tiring climbing ups and downs to all the waterfalls ok! =)

and today finally i was alone on my own!
decided to visit the war museum
while i was strolling to my destination
i realized when u take things slow u really get to observe alot of things
k i am super lazy to type shall just let the pics do the talking

and then i reached war museum
was just taking pics with the war machines outside the museum
didnt have any special feelings
they just looked the same as those we see on tv or movies

and then i started reading and seeing more abt the vietnam war

i really got a shock and literally jumped when i walked past this room and saw…

and i wondered how many heads were chopped under this..

and ppl could show off killing somebody like this

there were alot more gruesome pics and cruel information
i couldnt bear to continue
the pics and words brought me close to tears several times
after that i just briefly walked ard without looking into details
i guess wars are always cruel =(
the story of the war museum was pretty one sided tho..

but the post war damage lasted till today
victims of agent orange were at the museum
the effect of chemicals could be so great

one of them got his eyelids mused together he cant even open his eyes
yet he could play music so well
one girl was born without both arms
yet she learnt to paint using her feet

many many of them showing me how courageous they are
they have at least a skill to support themselves
such as making handicrafts
and i bought two bracelets from the organisation

pretty isnt it?

after that i moved on to independence palace

seriously this place was nothing much haha

just looking at alot of offices and rooms etc

and saw this grp of foreigners making fun of the ‘props”

i heed daniel’s advice and had my dinner at a roadside stall in a rain!

i didnt even know what i was eating seriously
shld be some noodles but the beancurd inside very nice =)

after that i just went back to hotel and nua
while waiting for my bus to go dalat!
