japan japan!

japan - the land of cutesies~
there even is such cute version of their map =)

so what do i love abt japan?
the vending machines?


yeah they are found practically everywhere
and u can buy almost anything from their vending machines
from normal ones like cold or hot drinks
to cigarettes and condoms
they seriously made full use of this invention for their convenience ya~

and i love tokyo!
(well its the only place i’ve been to in japan..)
love the ppl there


they are always so disciplined and polite
always keeping to the right
(yeah it might sound like a small thing but i am damn irritated with those ppl standing here there everywhere on the escalator blocking my way while i am rushing!)
its so difficult to find dustbins ard there but..
the streets are still so clean!
i found out later ..
the japanese actually picks up OUR rubbish
no litter..
and and theres more to it
we can eat on the subway in japan hooray!
why why?
all boils down to the ppl being disciplined
they wont litter and dirty the train!
i love their culture and how disciplined (considerate) the ppl can be!


for all the above mentioned
i have to go to japan to experience it myself
but way before i went to japan
i love japan already!

first up,
japanese manga/anime!



and slam dunk gotta be my all time fav!


accompanied me through my sec 4 life
slam dunk made me laugh so hard and cry so much!
even now when i see them
i can still feel the clinch in my heart =)

slam dunk forever yay!


and how could i ever miss this out..
their foooooooooooooood!
omg i love jap food so much!
jap food anytime for me man!


favourite is sashimi!
and favourite sashimi is mekajiki (swordfish!)
yummy!
i can go to jap buffets and jus whack on the sashimi =P
hehe..


and japan is such a lovely country
with the cutest things on earth!

it was a sponsored trip to japan few years back
i wanna save money to go there again!


last but not least..
why was there sponsored trip?
cos of my favourite sports - cheerleading!
japan cheerleaders are one of those greatest around the world
it was such great exposure to be able to even watch them live
we couldnt even match up to their ALL FEMALE teams!!
it definitely opened my eyes
and widened my horizons!

that was me on the competition floor in 2007


omg i feel old..
and i miss cheer so much!

great singapore sale~

went marina square again with xp haha (yes again!)
and this time i tried out the che zai mian at the food court
its this big just for $4!
you can choose 4 ingredients
but uncle gave me one more free hehe~
so i got noodles + 5 ingredients

its end of the month again~
and great singapore sale is still ongoing
ppl should feel a little bit richer cos its pay day hehe
this week i went hunting for shorts/pants that are on the higher range

black high waist shorts, $100+ (i forgot the exact price =P)
from warehouse

i love the colour of the top as well~
matches well with the high waist shorts eh? hehe



ok this is not really shorts
but this is sth that i have nv tried before
and i really love this piece!!

and its just one set
saves you the hassle of mix and match
how cool is that!
and its only $103
cheap! if you consider it a top + bottom hehe~
this is from warehouse too

and at warehouse,
if you spend $120 and above, you get 10% discount~

and then lastly,
another pair of jeans~
i know i have written abt another $50 pair of jeans 3 weeks ago
that pair of jeans is still awesome la!
but then sometimes you really just pay for the quality
this pair of jeans is ultra comfortable
the material isnt as thick and it gives you ease of movement~
for a pair of jeans like this, its $119~

bday lunch for kareen at soup spoon~
my all-time-favourite: mushroom soup!
i love the garlic bread there~ must try!

love love love the cheesecake!! ultra smooth and its super addictive!!

its my first pay treat!
altho not exactly feeling rich even after getting pay
(with all the stupid loan repayments/room rent etc )=
guess still have to treat xp’s parents cos they been really nice to me hehe

brought them to this chinese restaurant at boat quay
really like the service there



chinese style satay? my love!
xp’s spicy beef la mian
the noodles are nice!
my fav french beans (whatever its called)
ma po tofu
gong bao chicken (super appetising!)
must must must eat xiao long bao!
i had a second serving after finished this!
the soup inside the dumpling is heavenly!
(sx i am supposed to bring you here!!!! anw confirmed ikoi in may???)
first time trying this bbq stingray
quite disappointing tho.. not that fantastic..

(koped the whole entry from suxin cos i am so lazy to type and upload photos =P)

Finally had the chance to meet up with my uni friends (B22). Dim sum dinner at Swee Choon located at Jalan Besar which is like super near my ah ma’s place!

The dim sum was good! The company was even better! We shall meet up again soon for the laksa steamboat.

I love the har gow and siew mai! The har gow is really filled with 3 succulent prawns, unlike Wan Dou Sek’s which got even smaller now as compared to the past.

The fu pi xia juan is great too! I think the porridge is average. And the carrot cake was fabulously delicious.

Yirong!! I can’t wait for the laksa steamboat!! And I really miss eating lok lok. Haiz. Joan!!! You free 10 days later?

Ok, I know this is abrupt, but I’m going to end now.

met up with zhiliang and ivan earlier to have dinner
because i was really hungry =P
ok although not the lead of the night

so many ppl going sentosa on a weekend night!
yay finally got in..
the passerby sure loves to take pics
he took alot for us!
