I’m lazing on my big comfy sofa now, Macbook on my lap, enjoying the cold afternoon. I do not know what to write as I’m typing and neither do I have any topic in mind to write about. Haha… How often do people have that kind of luxury - free time, relaxed mind and most importantly…. COOL WEATHER! hahaha…
I think my sofa is really comfy because I really have one thousand and one friends that loves to sleep and rot on it. Oh, and I just got another big shock from Kah Leong early this morning. I was about to leave for work when I walked towards my sofa to grab my bag and I saw something moved! I jumped! And Kah Leong jumped up too..and he said “Bye!” He was sleeping there… Hahaha! And how many times have I nearly sat on my friends when I woke up in the morning to have coffee and wanted to sit down on my sofa… Hahaha…
Im very excited that im going to watch Liu Qian the magician tomorrow! He has been my idol for since the time i saw his feats on TV! Its live tomorrow! and Dear Dear is bringing me to watch! Hee! So excited! Im expecting hair-standing acts! I’ve been trying to drag my Papa and Mama along to watch it with us since my Papa enjoy watching Liu Qian’s magic shows on TV a lot. But they refuse to come leh… I told them I’ll give them a treat but they still think its too expensive… never mind la… hope there’s a next time!
I’ve lost my voice and its quite irritating… Contrary to what most think, I didn’t overexert my vocal chords like I did in the past. I realize my loss of voice always follows after a flu and fever. The sequence runs this way…. Flu, the fever, then cough… and next? No voice.
Okie! I think i’ve typed enough of my random thoughts! Hahaha… I shall do some online shopping now! and rot the rest of this lazy friday away with my darling Kele!
We were all heading to the Singapore Garden Festival! Thanks to the school so tickets are free and there’s also a very yummy reception for us!
Very kind Patrick drove us to Suntec that afternoon!
That’s Patrick driving and Huifang beside him. Boy… Patrick is a fierce driver….. >_<|||
The ticketing counter…
and all the pillars were decorated with flowers! so pretty!
One of the not so blur photos of the exhibits that i took. Orchids from Taiwan!
I took many photos but because i off the flash and i’ve got shaky hands… the photos came out blur… arghh…. what a waste… the colours there were beautiful…
more orchids and beautiful garden exhibits from various countries.. (that are not blurred… >_<||| )
An area on the sixth floor was cordoned off for our reception. We had expected simple finger food and tea but to our pleasant surprise, the food was really nice and exquisite!
The desserts!
>
The mains..
Not forgetting that there were chefs there preparing freshly made laksa and roti-prata!
And us being so hungry… had a good time there… my main focus was on the desserts of course! hahaha!
QZ, XH and ZW
Enjoying the scrumptious meal!
me with the 2 beautiful babes Theresa and Amy!
Another 2 very cute ladies!
I attended the Physiogel Blogger Event last week and I was a rather enriching experience! I learnt so much about skin care and it benefited especially me due to my eczema prone skin! Thanks to Ju Ann for inviting!
Being the punctual me (for the record, throughout my schooling years… I was NEVER late! haha..), I was the eighth blogger to arrive at the hotel’s ballroom and my reward for being punctual? I was given a big bottle of Physiogel shampoo! So nice of them to reward the early birds!
My Physiogel Shampoo!
Our skin’s moisture level was taken by this thermometer-like looking device when we were registering at the booth. The lady was shocked when she looked at the readings! “17? The normal range should be at least 70!” Hahahah… yeah that’s me! Im a very dehydrated prune who is always too lazy to moisturise, doesn’t like to drink water and loves coffee… which is very diuretic….
Check out this lady’s reading…. a whooping 119!
I think another girl overtook her with a reading of 133!
Some photos before the event starts…
Trying out the Physiogel Lotion and Physiogel Cream…
The big range of Physiogel products!!
Our goodie bag for the night was the whole range of retail size Physiogel products worth $150!
Im trying out all the products now and will be doing up a review post real soon!
Im in Team Repair for the games section!
Met bloggers Charlene and Amelia!
A photo taken by the organisers…. oh… i look so stiff…. hahahaha….
Dr Mark Tang, a dermatologist from the National Skin Centre giving us an insightful talk.
And now i finally understand my own skin condition after struggling with it for so many years!
Mr Eugene Yoo telling us more about the Physiogel products
And finally its games time!!
And that’s Rachel pressing the bell for our team!!
Had a great time that night and learnt a lot of new things and its nice to meet fellow bloggers and Ju Ann. I’ve tried out a few products from the Physiogel range already and I can only say that they were beyond my expectations of a moisturizer. I’ll do up a proper review real soon.
Now its time to share the goodness of Physiogel with all the ladies and gentlemen out there…
Its the first time I bought a bag online and this time its from Yventually! I love this cute pretty pink bag. The dusty pink isn’t too sweet too! Material is good… Only thing is that im so used to bags that doesn’t have a flap over it so now im finding it a little troublesome taking my things…lazy me… hahaha…
Took this pic while I was in Patrick’s car heading to Suntec…. heheh…
Oh! and that’s my polka dot light blue maxi skirt as the “background”! muahaha…
close-up!!

Oh btw Bellerin did the photoshoot for the next upcoming collection already. I’ve got a few pics with me for a little mini preview!
The new collection has got many more apparels and im looking forward to its launch already!! They are really pretty!
Jingyi called me and asked me to go to a manicure and pedicure session with her yesterday. I couldn’t make it for the earlier appointment and the evening slots were all fully booked so she had to shift her little treat for me till next week!
I was telling her through the phone that she called me at the right time! I normally cut my nails very very short. I must cut away all the white parts of the nail before I feel satisfied and comfortable. I find long nails very uncomfortable and difficult to maintain and its impossible to go about my daily tasks with long nails! It was just a few days ago that I was complaining to Evelyn about nails growing too fast and its so irritating to have to cut them all the time. But as I was really lazy to pick up the nail clipper, my nails were a little longer than usual when Jingyi called me yesterday! If not…. mani simi cure loh… hahahaha…
But anyway, I still went to meet my sister for dinner and for shopping at Vivo!
Have I told you about my darling shopping queen sister before? Here goes…
We finished dinner at around 730pm and headed to Desigual for Jingyi’s shopping. We left Desigual at? 9pm! hahahah!
We love each other very very much… but we are really polar opposites! I normally know what I want when I shop. So I’ll take a visual sweep of the shop to decide whether to go in or not. If i do, I quickly pick out what I want, try, look front and back and side in the mirror, decide, change out, and if im buying… pay. It should take only around 5-10 mins if there’s no queue. Im a very impatient person, even at shopping.
But im more than glad to keep Jingyi company. I had nothing on anyway. She said that it felt like im the guy waiting for his gf while the lady shops.. hahahah… quite true! I sat on a little sofa in the uber big and pretty fitting room and took up the responsibility and passing her clothes and commenting on the millions of dresses and blouses and skirts that she tried on. And the sales consultant kept bringing in the designs that he thinks Jingyi might fancy for her. Oh ya i forgot to mention… Jingyi sure is a big spender (but you better give her good service!!) which i think all the sales consultants will love to have!
I got a little bored so I decided to take some photos of Jingyi in the pretty clothes!
And here’s me trying to entertain myself in the fitting room!
My pretty sister with her loots!
Ta da!
I can’t communicate with the Korean darlings! They do not understand Mandarin, not even English… I can’t speak Korean. I even attempted speaking to them in Japanese but they just shook their head… sigh… any Korean speakers wanna teach me a few basic lines please?
Anyway… talking about the kimchi nation, Dear Dear introduced me the song “Gee” some time back.. and I like it! Its really cute!
Girls’ Generation (SNSD) - Gee
The song is pretty addictive! hahaha….
Nemesis - Gee
I prefer this version of Gee by Nemesis!
Its a much heavier rock version!
My favourite version is the version Prince Band played… muahahaha…. its a in-between between the 2 above… i like i like… ;p
And after this song i got addicted to another of SNSD’s song…..
SNSD - Oh!
Very cute and bubbly girls! hahahah….. I like their energy that im so so so lacking! But i dunno what they are singing la… hahaha…
So… anyway…. any Korean speakers?
Sponsored Review
My skin is quite dry and people who know me would know that I drink a lot of coffee! Coffee is very diuretic and hence, my skin is really dehydrated!

Hada Labo….. Perfect yet Simple!

I’m so glad and thankful that the much raved about Habo Labo from Japan sponsored me 2 products from the Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA) Hydrating Range - SHA Hyrdating Facewash and SHA Hydrating Lotion! And yes! Their products are finally in Singapore!
Hada Labo’s tagline for this range of Skincare: “One Drop Locks Up The Ocean”
It already sounds so promising isn’t it?

SHA Hydrating Facewash
Gently cleanses to remove oil and dirt and it also contains SHA to preserve skin’s natural moisture leaving it silky smooth and hydrated!
The facewash that I was previously using left my face too squeaky clean that my skin felt tight after cleansing. SHA Hydrating Facewash leaves my face clean but it left a dewy feeling. Not tight and dry anymore!

SHA Hydrating Lotion
Apparently this product flies off the shelves and one bottle is sold every 4 seconds in Japan!
I absolutely love this product and no wonder its a best seller form the range!
It provides instant hydration and my skin feels smooth and supple after that. After I cleanse my face with the Facewash, I poured a little of the Hydrating Lotion onto my palm and spread it evenly over my face. Unlike other toners that felt watery, Hydrating Lotion is slightly thicker, but not sticky! It is easily absorbed by the skin due to its light texture.
SHA Hydrating Range of products were featured in the very popular Taiwan beauty program 《女人我最大》!

I love the SHA Hydrating Facewash and the SHA Hydrating Lotion! The whole range of products including the SHA Hydrating Essence, SHA Hydrating Milk and SHA hydrating Mask are now available in Watsons! I’m so going to get them all!
Thanks Hada Labo!
I asked Rachel to go town with me and made her spend more than more than 1000 plus on a Loewe bag! Hahaha… but in a way i helped her save some money also? She got the bag at 50% off! The initial cost of the bag before discount was a whooping $2400 plus! Woohoo!
Anyway both of us got beautiful bags that night and we were so happy! Me especially i think! Rachel help me save a total of $2050!!!!! Thanks a lot darling!

Rachel and me!
Check out her new Loewe bag that she “changed” into! I like the bright colour! I got a red one!

Gaowei joined us for dinner at the turkish restaurant at Far East Plaza… The food is nice, especially the salad!

Cutesy Rachel!
Before i left to meet my friends to watch the Brazil and Netherlands match with my friends at a bar, Gaowei suddenly decided to advise me to go and straighten my 2 crooked front teeth and he said that it will be better for me, according to 面相. I really believe what he said! And since I have been procrastinating it since I was a teen, I guess this would be a motivating factor for me to finally go and straighten my teeth! hahahahaha!
