August 29th, 2009 丰盛的晚餐！
昨天晚上，把敏瑜去年送给我的食谱拿出来翻。坐在旁边的Dear Dear头凑了过来，看到了一道 Seared Sea Scallops with Clementine Dipping Sauce，就说看起来很不错，今天要下橱做给我吃。我当然乐啦！最喜欢吃家里煮的东西了！既然要煮，当然不能只煮一道菜。今天下午我们要去买菜之前决定了再煮两道—— 香辣蜜汁鸡柳还有 Classic Clam Chowder Soup!
在 Cold Sorage 逛了很久才买到需要买的材料。因为很少下橱，所以家里有的材料真的是“有限公司”。所以嘞…花了一大笔！咳… 但是没关系啦！那些材料可以用很久，下次下橱的时候就不需要买了。

最后这道 Clam Omelette 是最后因为剩下太多 clams 才做的。以前不管我煎什么蛋，总是会弄到整个蛋不成“蛋型”，都是碎碎的。现在终于是圆形的了！好开心喔！
这次，鸡柳和煎蛋是我负责的，另外两道是Dear Dear负责做的。这些菜都是我们第一次做喔！我们刚刚开始学做饭的时候常常都会买那些已经包装好的酱料，加入菜或肉，炒一炒，热一热就能吃的那种来做菜。现在终于懂得怎么 cook something from the scratch 了！总算有点进步了！开心！！
但是因为是新手上路啊，所以每一次做饭都会状况连连。今天啊，我一开始，打开麻油，就弄得整个地上、身上都是….＊汗～～＊ 后来嘞，要开罐头，发现开罐器坏了，还跑到7楼去跟Robin借，呵呵～～再后来，发现Clam Chowder Soup 少买了一个材料，Dear Dear 又蹦到 Cold Storage 去买回来。哎～～我们俩真是的！呵呵！结果搞到9点多才吃饭。但是重点是，虽然很麻烦，但是我们两个都做得很开心。一起做饭其实很开心！
我相信我们一定会越煮越好吃！
嗯….其实我已经爱上下橱了！ ：）

哇！！天都亮了！！
The incessant beeping of my handphone of my handphone woke me up yesterday. If that had happened on any other day, i’ll be so angry that i’ll most probably switch off my phone and bury my head in my pillows again. But I didn’t. I actually woke up smiling. The messages were all well wishes from my friends and family as it was my birthday. It was sweet to know that they remembered (facebook reminders maybe? haha…but still, it takes effort to lift your fingers to send a msg!)and i appreciate that a lot! Thanks!
I woke up and instinctively turned to the right side to look for Dear Dear but hey! He’s not lying beside me! I walked to the living room to check and he’s not there either. I knew he purposely woke up early to go to NTUC to shop. He was going to prepare a birthday lunch for me! 
I went to wash up and laze on the sofa and shortly Dear Dear returned home with NTUC bags of groceries. I was so curious and kept asking what we were going to have for lunch. He was so secretively and chased me out of the kitchen. Dear Dear said it would be a surprise when i see the dishes on the table. Oh…anyway, he did ask me back to the kitchen to cook the white rice for him…He never knew how much water to put.. hahahaha….

So much food and only 2 of us. We were very very very full by the end of our lunch. I’m thankful for the efforts my dear had put in to make me happy!
We watched VCDs for a few hours before we prepare to head out to meet my gang to celebrate bday over dinner.
I’m thankful for having Dear Dear, and I’m thankful that I’ve got wonderful friends who stick with me through thick and thin and who tolerated me for so many many many years. We met up at Vivocity Marche to eat our fill and this year, my sister and her family joined us too!

August 10th, 2009 国庆日！
以前还在学校的时候，国庆的气氛总是很浓。国庆之前每天早上都会陪孩子们唱歌，上课的时候制作小国旗什么的。如果是五年级的老师还可以陪他们去看国庆预演！因为不在校园里活动了，今年的国庆反而过得平平淡淡的，甚至不太觉得国庆日到了，嗯~~~不觉的这样有什么好或不好，
国庆日没什么庆祝，留在家里陪 Dear Dear。我们很懒，有时连过条马路去买午餐都懒。尤其是我，因为我很讨厌太阳，呵呵～～ 昨天，我们竟然一起出门到 Compass Point 去吃午餐！（虽然 Compass Point就在对面.. 呵呵！）丰富喔！也算是庆祝国庆了吧！哈哈！
昨天的重点其实是要买吸尘机啦。我们家里的吸尘机坏了很久….很久….很久….（to the power of infinity 的久…)。到电器行选了很久，然后再让店员介绍才找到一台不错的。还有折扣喔！原本想买一台便宜的，但是店员也说那台不好，所以最后口袋还是破了个洞。
过后我们又去挑选一台家用电话。原本（又是原本…*汗～～*）想随便买一个便宜的，可以用来打电话的就好了。结果，被另一台古董电话（用 rotary dial 的那种！）吸引了！哎…我们又想，还是不要乱花钱，就选了另一台。可是，老天就是要我们买那台古董电话！因为便宜的那个没有货了！所以我们就….

从 Compass Point 走回家，我轻松得很，Dear Dear 就辛苦了。我拿电话，他搬吸尘机。好重喔～～ 辛苦咯！
回到家兴奋地把一切装好（Dear Dear 玩那个电话玩得很开心～muahahahah!），准备要开始做家务，因为星期天是我们的 Housework Day! Dear Dear 可怜兮兮地走过来说：“今天有很nua的感觉，我们明天做好吗？” 哈哈哈….我说：“好啊！！”
于是，我们就瘫在沙发看电视看一整个晚上…
就这样庆祝国庆日….:)
喔！昨天是 Linus 的生日，我们买了小礼物帮他庆祝了一下！Happy Birthday!
敏瑜生日那天跟她吃饭的时候谈起 Ice Age 3这部电影时才知道电影院有上映 3D 的版本。我没看过啊，Dear Dear 就订了昨天的票陪我一起去看！ Yeah!
买了一包爆米花（一定要是甜的哦~~咸的不好吃~~）和必备的可乐就走向戏院，入场之前还要各拿一副 3D 的眼镜。哎，我的眼睛发炎不能戴隐形眼镜，还没出门的时候Dear Dear还问我说我戴眼镜不知道能不能再戴上多一副3D的眼镜。入场后试试看…咦？可以耶！一定可以的吧！不然戴眼镜的人怎么看戏….但是后来想想，卢广仲的话，可能就不行….他的眼镜好像太大了…呵呵~~
3D 影像好神奇！不戴上3D眼镜看银幕，所有的东西都是蒙的。戴上了眼镜之后，不只清晰了，所有东西都变得立体了！可惜银幕不是很大，所以效果不是很完美。如果是Omnimax Theatre那种银幕就一定会很棒！！
把3D效果放一边，其实电影还挺好看的。它是那种 stupidly funny的，有很多很可爱很好笑的点。之前看的 “Over The Hedge” 就逊掉了。嗯… Over The Hedge 其实还挺闷的。
我们昨天也特地到宠物店去给可乐添一些小点心。虽然知道小孩子不应该吃零食，但是觉得每天晚上给可乐一点点小点心应该没问题。让他开心一下吧！我要他当一只开心的兔子！:)
你们看！那么多种类的小点心！可乐肯定不会腻！放心，可乐每天都只可以吃一点而已，还会是健康的宝宝！注意看第四张图…有没有发现那是 jelly? 兔子也有果冻吃哦！太可爱了！昨天让可乐试了一个果冻，他很喜欢哦！
我们还买了一个 cooling pad 给他。最近天气热，天天都给他开风扇。昨天在逛宠物店时发现这个就买来给可乐试试。起初可乐不知道那是什么，一直拿他当玩具玩。到今天晚上可乐才发现它的用途，就一直躺在上面，应该很凉快哦！
可乐跑累了，趴在 cooling pad 上面休息！可爱！
