I thought your question would also help those that are interested to know, so i decided to blog it instead
Q: healthy diet and exercises is all what we need to do. Am I right?
A: yup. you’re right, healthy diet and exercises is all you need to do.. but remember 30% exercise 70% diet. you won’t lose weight even if you’re exercising alot but at the same time still eating alot.
Q: What exercises do you recommend?
A: other than brisk walking, dancing, if you don’t know, you can go youtube learn!! it’s free and convenient!
hulahoop yes, helps to slim the waist, i used to hulahoop for about 1hr or more a day.
For toning wise, you can do strength training, yoga and pilates is good also! you can also learn from youtube!!!
Q: Do you normally prepare your own healthy meal or you dine out? If you do prepare, what do you normally prepare?
A: I do, sometimes. Toast wholemeal sandwich, wholemeal pasta with tomato sauce and mushrooms, baked fish, baked eggs, this are some of the examples. Try to bake and boil instead of fry, and eat more wholemeal!

have a good day people! i will blog sooon, now need to concentrate on my exams, till then!
Before I introduced you guys the exercises I do, I need to stress that not every human body is the same. So ya do what suits your body type.
The last holiday I remembered I jogged almost everyday for about 2months and I lose about 4-5kgs. But once school reopened, I gained them all back. I know it’s normal for one to gain all back once you stop jogging, but think of it, are you still going to jog regularly once you hit 40s, 50s, 60s or even 70s? If you got the determination, sure you can, but do you have the time?
So the best exercise you can ever do is to WALK! I know every single one of you walk everyday, but do you walk enough? The best thing about walking is that it increases your metabolism, and you can keep your weight off without fearing gaining it all back! (Of course if you binge on oily and fattening stuffs, no matter what kind of exercise won’t help!)
Although the process may be longer, but your weight loss would definitely maintained.
and to many ladies out there who hate jogging, it’s a bonus for you now!
And what is the next best exercise? DANCING!

source: takecareyourhealth.net
Don’t worry if you don’t have any talents in dancing, you can just sign up for dancing classes. If you’re on budget? The best alternative is to go to community clubs but if you’re paiseh, THEN GO YOU TUBE LEARN!! why go youtube for songs and videos only when there are so many dance tutorials?!
Lastly, do YOGA AND PILATES!

Source: google, healthdump.com
Yoga and Pilates helps to develop long, strong and graceful bodies. Even increasing strength, having greater flexibility, endurance and better posture. Other than this, it helps to relax and relieve stress. This is definitely a gd exercise for weight loss and toning!
So start being active now, by doing 1 of the exercises listed or ALL. And soon, you will be able to achieve the body that you’ve always dream of!

Hey!
I’m gonna share with you guys some of the diets I’ve tried before throughout my weight loss period as you guys should know i’ve lost about 40kgs before.
1st: Fruits diet
Which I eat only 3green apples a day. This diet claimed that one will be able to lose 2kgs in 3days, i did lose 2kgs in 3days and I continue this diet for about 2weeks, i forgot how much kgs i lost because after this 2weeks, i ate back doubled the amount and i gained all back!
cons: food deprived, depressed, lethargic, lack of energy, not enough nutrients, and u gain it all back after suffering -.-
2nd: Green tea diet
By drinking green tea, (polka greentea) everyday, only tea and water nothing else. Continue for 2weeks and I finally fainted one day. :O
cons: food deprived, depressed, isolate oneself, not enough nutrients, lack of energy, and gain it all back again.
3rd: 800calories diet
Basically your daily intake should be under 800calories (asked me if you want a sample meal plan)
cons: feels weak, slow metabolism, and one day you will start to binge again.
Anyone of you tried other diets before and worked well? Share with me!
But I want to emphasize that diets are not good, because you will become very lethargic, depressed and moody, and also you are doing harm to your body, because of dieting, I’m malnutrition now and resulted in hair loss and etc..
Just eat normal people, or maintain it at the 1500calories intake and exercise!

There are people who exercise like crazy but still not losing weight. And why is this so?
1) Exercising alone is not enough, diet is important as well. Not as in hardcore diet, but eat healthily.
2) Do not do the same type of exercise everyday, for example if you think cycling can slim legs, don’t do it everyday, it might make your legs bigger instead.
3) Warm up is very important, it increases blood flow, energy and oxygen will be used more efficiently.
4) Doing yoga alone wont help you to lose weight, you need to incorporate other activities as well.
5) Be more active, if you’re sitting the whole day, eating the same amount of calories and only exercise at night. It doesn’t help much.
6) Exercise moderately, always give yourself restdays! Do not over strain!!

The previous post i talked about having a sensible diet. Today I’m gonna give some other tips to get that flat tummy (:

Always remember to eat your breakfast as I have said before, and never ever skipped meals! Skipping meals would slow down your metabolism rate, this I’m not kidding. Yes you would lose weight, but after sometime, you would suddenly binge and gain the kilos back easily.
Exercise! Exercise is the next key importance to achieving it. 30minutes a day is all you need to fork out. To lose weight, you would need to work out 250minutes a week. Exercise also increase metabolism!
Do some abs exercises. Start with crunches first. Don’t do sit ups if you don’t know how to do it in the right form!
This should be about it, I will update more if I happened to think of any
Oh by the way, I’m trying on a new lens, which I’m still monitoring if it’s good or not. If it’s good I will intro
Next post , outing with 8yrs bestie

lets work hard together to get a flat tummy people, due to the stress from exams and pms, my tummy is also bloated now. well i dont think i need to upload a picture of my bloated tummy right
I have been staying up late, like 4am or even later because I was studying for my exams. And during this period, I’ve been snacking non-stop. For instance, yesterday i ate pistachio nuts, cashew nuts, gummy bears, chocolate marie biscuits! >< OMG. HOW TO SLIM DOWN LIKE THIS? Another thing is that I’m supposed to be healthy but I couldn’t control my appetite when it’s exam period, and not to forget PMS!
I’ve gained some mass, well that’s sad tsk. And furthermore, I haven’t been exercising like what? WEEKS? maybe not that exaggerated, but yeah…. ):
So it’s time for me to work hard and get back into shape! *im thinking of going bintan and i dun wanna forget the existence of my bikini*
I will share the TIPS that I managed to get that flat tummy as per above now!
DIET PLAYS A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE HERE ( i will talk about diet today first!)
1) Firstly, FIBRE
- Yes I’m talking about diet here. HAHA. I think i start to hear things like, “aiyo sian, diet again?” Haha. Don’t worry guys, the diet I’m talking about is eating healthily. For weight loss, fibre and protein is very important.
- I think the right amount of fibre intake per day should be about 25g? Fibre aids in your digestive system and the best thing is that it helps to keep you full longer! You will go to the toilet frequently and help to cleanse your intestines!
- It’s easy to incorporate fibre into your daily diet, you just need to substitute white bread with wholemeal bread or even best, multigrain bread, grains are good for your heart as well. Aimed for at least 3.5g of fiber per serving for bread.- Eat wholemeal spaghetti instead of the normal ones.
- Have brown rice instead of white rice (well this is actually optional)
- Oats are a good choice as well.
2) Protein
Protein gives you energy. Increase your muscles mass and at the same time increase the metabolism of oneself. It helps you to burn more fats and calories. Good protein are egg whites, nuts (control the intake), and fish is definitely a good choice of protein.
3) Fats
Who says you have to abstain from fats intake if you wanna lose weight? You just need to differentiate what is good and bad fats.
DO NOT eat saturated fats, most of these come from processed food (which is also high in sodium), snacks like potato chips, biscuits, chocolates ( dark chocolates are good though in moderate amount) and etc.
Eat the good fats which are from nuts, natural nuts and not the one with sugar coated or salty ones. Use extra virgin olive oil in cooking instead of the other oils like the knife brand! *omg*
4) Cut down on sugars and salt
I don’t drink fruit juice, because it is very high in sugar content, eat the real fruits instead, the vitamins are more and it contains natural sugar! High in salt would results in water retention! And you would have a really bloated tummy.
5) Drink more water
Drink alot of water to but not more than 2litres a day if you are inactive. Too much of water would cause bloatedness. I experienced it myself.
6) LASTLY, eat 5meals a day!
Most of the people eat 3meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, to get your metabolism going, you should eat smaller meals throughout a day, a big breakfast is a must, followed by a mid morning snack if you got time, a moderate lunch, and next a after noon snack, and lastly, a light dinner!
For snack wise, you could have fruits or yogurt which are healthier.
This is what I could remember for now, lets adjust our diet first and i will be posting more probably the next few days, sorry for the late updates, i owe alot i know
